The last package that I got from Betty's Toy Box with products to review didn't just have adult toys, but also a bottle of lube. I thought it was a good idea when they emailed be a list asking me to pick one lube to be tested, because I probably wouldn't have thought to ask to try one.

I have been a pretty basic girl when it comes to lube thus far in life. KY was introduced to me through bad jokes made by adults, and is sold in bulk at Costco, so I never really sway from that.

I knew that I didn't want to try anything flavoured when I started looking at the list of lube's available to test from Betty's, but truly wasn't sure what the other options would be (maybe I had my brain turned off for a minute there, because of course there were!) I have tried flavoured lube with partners a few times, and never to any avail.

I remember the first time it was red, goopy, probably not water based, supposed to taste like strawberry, and made my mouth tingle when it came in contact. And the most recent.. a chocolate lube that I tried on my tongue out of fear of it not being good. And, I am glad that I did - because the only word to describe that taste was 'toxic'

That leads me to when I stumbled on the one labelled an 'aphrodesiac' in the list. I've heard the term, but this lead me to actually looking it up to make sure I understood correctly. Most definitions will read something along the lines of 'food/drink/drug that stimulates sexual desire".

"Okay, so I know it's not a drug because of where it is being sold.. What the hell? Is banana, or something random, the secret ingredient".

I wouldn't need to wait long to understand when I opened the top and got a good smell..

Minty Fresh..

Taking a moment to appreciate everything about this product.. the packaging is wonderful! A pump for ease, that you can turn off and "lock" when you're finished.

I didn't really pay much attention to what was listed on the ingredients, but later when I was pasting it into the features (below) of this review I saw a word sticking out..

Peppermint.

The minute I pumped a bit (really just a bit - a little goes a long way with this product) into my hand the smell took over the room. This may be offputting if you really don't like mind, but I didn't mind it.

The intensity of the smell made me giggle, and then my brain swayed off about whether it tastes like peppermint as well. Od course, I had to taste a little bit of it too.

Contrary to what I said about not liking flavoured lube's above, the mint worked. I don't know if it is meant to, as it's main purpose is probably for the stimulative effects.. but it actually doesn't taste bad..

And you know that 'cold' 'minty' sensation you experience when you have it in your mouth? Well, that is the same feeling you will get if you use this product.. on whichever body part you're keen to try it with..

Step up your Sensation..

There are probably other ingredients in the list that contribute to the sensation, but 'minty' really is the best term to describe it.

This is absolutely a product that you should try if you want more stimulation of your clitoris, nipples, penis.. etc.

I am generally not a person who uses my hand when I masturbate, but I knew I had to give it the good old fashioned try with this type of product. It was a great choice, and I was able to bring myself close to orgasm without any toys. I absolutely could have had the orgasm without the toys, but knew that I wanted to try them with the sensations from the lube as well.

So I reached over to the bottom drawer of my dresser where I keep my adult toys, and pulled out my magic wand.

In retrospect, I probably could have chosen a more 'chill' vibrator with already having heightened stimulation.. but, it's too late now! Normally, I end up on the third setting of my magic wand before I reach orgasm. This time, I flicked on the first setting, and am surprised I lasted 30 seconds.

So, essentially, I am giving this lube a glowing review! I can't wait to try it with more of my adult toys, and with partnered activities! I really appreciate that this product can heighten stimulation no matter what anatomy you have.
